"Arfah was invited to the 2018 Computer Weekly diversity in technology event to appear on a panel discussing the nuanced topic of inclusion in the technology sector. Because of her work running Muslamic Makers, Arfah was asked to shed light on what inclusion means both to her as an individual, and as a representative of the Muslim tech community. She spoke very passionately on the panel, demonstrating an in depth knowledge of the subject area, and a real devotion for educating people around the topic of creating a welcoming inclusive culture in an organisation or at events. Her contributions on the panel were invaluable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to invite her to speak again."
