The Nest I/O

The Nest i/o is a technology incubator in Pakistan, a community hub launched by P@SHA with global partners Google for Entrepreneurs and Samsung, and through a supporting grant from the US State Department. In these videos I meet the startups based there, including BoloTech a startup delivering speech therapy through technology and games in Pakistan.

The Nest i/o provides budding entrepreneurs with space, infrastructure, facilities and knowledge sessions as well as access to a network of mentors and potential investors. The Nest i/o’s mission is to blaze the trail for the next generation of entrepreneurs in Pakistan.
The Nest i/o is lead by the “big bird” known as Jehan Ara who has has 30 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications and interactive new media in Hong Kong, the Far East, the UAE and Pakistan. She has a massive passion of using ICT to help traditional businesses. You can watch the short interview with her on this page. She has been at the forefront of Pakistan’s tech industry for over a decade

I also interviewed Sabika about their programme called Women Scaling Heights which aims to help women by conducting sessions and workshops that help women from all walks of life grow personally and professionally.
